Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter with a background in Light Industrial environments, specifically Warehouse and Forklift operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing candidates for a variety of positions in our light industrial sector. This position involves collaborating with internal and external candidates and maintaining effective relationships with management to ensure the organization’s staffing needs are met.
As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process from start to finish, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection. You will be expected to identify, interview, and recommend the most qualified candidates, extend job offers, and, where necessary, arrange relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, recruit, and interview candidates for light industrial roles (Warehouse, Forklift Operators, etc.).
- Maintain effective relationships with company management to ensure all staffing needs are met.
- Advise and consult with hiring managers to recommend the best-fit candidates for various positions.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from initial sourcing through to offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Stay informed on industry trends, wages, employee benefits, and best practices in human resources.
- Extend job offers to selected candidates and assist with relocation if necessary.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process, maintaining a positive candidate experience.
- Collaborate with both internal teams and external staffing sources to maintain a healthy talent pipeline.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Recruiter or in Staffing/Recruiting roles, preferably in a light industrial environment.
- Experience with recruiting for Warehouse and Forklift operations.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and the ability to manage the full recruiting lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with management and external staffing agencies.
- Knowledge of HR policies, wages, and benefits in industrial sectors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with industrial recruitment or staffing in manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing recruitment needs.
